I find Swansea a very inspiring place to paint, because of it’s diversity of subjects.
When I travel to other towns or countries, I look for inspiration for paintings, but not always with as great a success.

What I like about Swansea is the variety of themes that I can develop, for example the sea-side, Mumbles, terraced hillsides, the docks and new developments, and there are still a few old buildings left amongst the new.
