This Gallery section includes a collection of paintings of old Swansea. This will be an ongoing project that will continue well into 2010, until I have enough for an exhibition to be titled Swansea Past. The period ranges from about 1900 up to the 1960's. Many of the images are based on black and white photographs, which means heavy reliance on imagination to complete the colour detail.

I would be very interested in hearing from anyone with colour images of Swansea in the 50's and 60's so that I could scan them for future use - ideally, recognisable landmarks e.g. Quay Parade, slip bridge etc.
